Belarus, U.S. discuss cultural heritage preservation

        Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Alexander Gurianov has met with Chair of the U.S. Commission for the Preservation of America’s Heritage Abroad Lesley Weiss and U.S. Charge d'Affaires in Belarus Ethan Goldrich in Minsk, the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry reports.
         “Top on the agenda of the meeting were possible areas of cooperation in protecting and preserving cultural heritage assets,” the press service of the Foreign Ministry informed.
          Lesley Weiss is set to hold meetings with senior officials of Belarus’ Culture Ministry, the Office of the Commissioner for Religions and Nationalities, and the Justice Ministry, as well as with representatives of the Jewish community in Belarus.
