Belarus viewed as CIS leader in vocational training


          Belarus is the CIS leader in vocational training and educational activities, Igor Pavlov, the deputy head of the department of education of the Moscow government, said during the opening ceremony of the 12th Education & Career expo in Minsk. “The Belarusian education system is based on a very old and deep platform. I would especially praise vocational training and educational activities in Belarus. In these two areas of education Belarus is a real leader in the CIS,” said Igor Pavlov. The Education & Career expo features more than 140 educational institutions of Belarus, and also from other countries. All major educational establishment of the country are taking part in the event and have presented the latest information about new majors, enrollment, and students’ programs.
      The Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation has presented a large booth featuring the universities in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Voronezh, Tver, and Tyumen. The Russian specialists will acquaint the visitors with the research and development work conducted at the institutions of higher learning in Russia.
