Lukashenko sends National Day greetings to Ecuador

“On this day 217 years ago, the first steps were taken to free the country from the yoke of colonial oppressors. In selfless and heroic struggle, your people won the right to independent development, and the solid state foundation laid during that historic period continues to serve as a bulwark of the Republic of Ecuador’s independence and sovereignty to this day,” the Belarusian leader noted.

Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasized that bilateral relations between Minsk and Quito hold significant potential for mutually beneficial growth in trade and cooperation in agriculture, industry, science and technology, and other areas.

The Belarusian president wished the Ecuadorian leader robust health, unflagging energy, and lasting success in all his endeavors, and extended wishes of peace and prosperity to the people of Ecuador.
