80 Belarusian and German companies take part in Belarusian Agricultural Forum during Green Week Berlin

Representatives of about 80 Belarusian and German companies took part in the Belarusian Agricultural Forum that was held during the 79th international agriculture and food expo Green Week that is taking place in Berlin. An official Belarusian delegation led by First Deputy Agriculture and Food Minister Leonid Marinich is taking part in the Green Week expo. During the expo Belarusian officials and Belarus’ Ambassador to Germany Andrei Giro met with Federal Minister of Food and Agriculture of Germany Hans-Peter Friedrich. 

The same day Leonid Marinich held talks with Russia’s Agriculture Minister Nikolai Fyodorov and agriculture chiefs from Lithuania, Finland, Moldova, Armenia and other countries. Following the Belarusian Agricultural Forum held on 18 January, the Agriculture and Food Ministry of the Republic of Belarus and the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture of the Federal Republic of Germany signed a protocol on arranging internships of Belarusian agriculture students in Germany.
