It will be held as part of the fifth Minsk international Christmas Opera Forum at the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater. In comparison with other similar contests, the age limit for participation has been increased to 40. Participating in the first international Christmas vocal contest in Minsk will be the singers with university degrees and stage experience. “The jury of the contest will include directors and managers of different theaters so that the participants could get theatrical engagements. Our theater is also looking for interesting performers and is ready to cooperate with the winners of the competition,” Tatyana Aleksandrova noted.
The participants will include singers from the CIS, the Baltic countries, and the countries of Western Europe.
