Belarus, Turkey ink agreement on cooperation between exchanges

          Belarus and Turkey have signed an agreement on cooperation between exchanges.
The document was signed during the visit of the delegation of the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE) to Istanbul. The delegation held meetings with representatives of the Istanbul Commodity Exchange to discuss the possibility of export and import operations using BUCE’s digital trade and exchange trade instruments. An agreement on cooperation between the exchanges was signed. The sides also agreed measures meant to step up interaction between BUCE and the Istanbul Commodity Exchange. A business forum was held, during which Belarusian representatives met with potential Turkish partners. A presentation of the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange with regard to digital trade in exchange and non-exchange commodities took place.
          Opportunities were outlined for Turkish businessmen to take part in government purchases facilitated by BUCE, including via digital auctions.
