Belarus and Azerbaijan discuss perspectives of development of industrial cooperation and joint marketing of products

         Belarus and Azerbaijan have identified promising new areas of cooperation. Following the talks in Baku Presidents of Azerbaijan and Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and Ilham Aliyev signed a joint declaration. The main topics discussed during the visit of the Belarusian leader were further development of industrial cooperation, joint production and marketing in third countries, strengthening investment cooperation.
       Thus, the President of Belarus invited Azerbaijani business to actively invest in Belarus. Among promising spheres for investment President Alexander Lukashenko named petrochemicals, agriculture, chemical production , pharmaceutics:

       “We are ready to discus your suggestions for investments in petrochemicals, agriculture, chemical production, and especially pharmaceutics, which is paid a lot of attention to by the Azerbaijani President. I support this concern, as we also have to face the challenging task of providing pharmaceutical security of the nation. We are ready to assist in building a pharmaceutical plant here and offer our technologies.”
