Union State MPs to gather in Minsk to discuss lawmaking activities

       The improvement of the legal framework of the Belarus-Russia Union State will be discussed during a session of the permanent seminar on the Union State construction under the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State in Minsk on 13-14 November.
       The Parliamentary Assembly will consider adopting framework legislation, model laws and recommendatory acts of the Union State. The participants of the seminar will also discuss the existing lawmaking practices in associations of states, mechanisms of financing lawmaking efforts, and possible areas of the development of the Union State legal system.
          Partaking in the seminar will be members of the Parliamentary Assembly, representatives of the Union State Permanent Committee, Belarusian and Russian ministries and agencies, experts and scientists from the two countries. Representatives of the CIS, EurAsEC, CSTO, and Customs Union have also been invited to attend the session.
