EEC working group approves roadmap of Kyrgyzstan’s accession to CU

         The working group of the Eurasian Economic Commission has approved at large the draft roadmap of Kyrgyzstan’s accession to the Customs Union at a session in Minsk. The draft document was approved taking into account remarks and suggestions and was reconciled by the ministries and agencies of the interested countries. Kyrgyzstan asked to consider a possibility to include a number of additional provisions into the roadmap during the study of the document by the Board and the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission. “During the session of the working group, all the participants demonstrated a positive attitude to the work and readiness to look for mutually acceptable solutions to sensitive issues,” the press service informed. The session was presided by Minister for Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission Tatyana Valovaya and was attended by representatives of Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and the Eurasian Economic Commission.
