Belarusian automaker MAZ comments on synthesis of cooperation in Egyptian market

We have been working on the market of Egypt for 20 years, Director General of the Belarusian automaker MAZ Valery Ivankovich told the media on 30 April, BelTA has learned.

"During this period, we had both successes and failures. Today, we have a maintenance center in that country. This is a clear and understandable message to the market. We provide maintenance, which means that we are always ready to service the equipment that works for the benefit of the Egyptian economy. Therefore, we see the contracts that we signed as very promising," he said.

According to him, the best way is to supply Egypt with the chassis with Egyptian-made add-ons. "These are, for example, dump platforms that are used in construction projects, which is very important for Egypt. It can also be concrete mixers, fire fighting add-ons. This is a synthesis of cooperation and we see this format as the most promising for MAZ and our partners in Egypt," Valery Ivankovich said.

The Belarusian automaker MAZ considers Egypt as one of the key markets. "This is a key market in the African region, both politically and economically," he stressed.
