Agreement on cooperation in education signed between universities of Belarus and Sardinia

An agreement on cooperation in education was signed between universities of Belarus and Sardinia during a visit of the delegation of the Belarusian Education Ministry to Cagliari, the capital of Sardinia. This year the Sardinia Global Center in Belarus will offer vocational training in construction majors with the issuance of the international certificate. The focus of the agreement will be on the development of inter-university cooperation. “There are plans to send first Belarusian students to Sardinia for on-the-job training next year,” Alexander Zhuk said. 

The agreement also envisages joint research, a student exchange and on-the-job training for the academic staff. In his words, the most promising areas have been chosen for joint projects. Among them is bioengineering, information technology and medicine. Sardinia and Belarus have other areas for developing cooperation as well, i.e. landscape construction, architectural design, tourism and industrial marketing.
