Belarus’ competitive advantages highlighted at Italian forum

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Italy Yevgeny Shestakov took part in the 2nd Eurasian forum Innovations and International Integration. The event took place in Italian Verona. The Ambassador informed participants of the event about approaches of the Belarusian side towards integration processes in the post-Soviet space. He highlighted Belarus’ advantages and the country’s appeal for Italian business. The Ambassador held negotiations with top executives of a number of Italian companies to discuss prospects of bolstering Belarusian-Italian regional ties, the promotion of bilateral trade and economic cooperation as well as preparations for Belarus’ participation in the global universal exhibition Expo Milano 2015.
The forum was focused on discussing innovations and internationalization as well as topical matters such as energy industry, environment, telecommunications, transport, state administration and finance.
