Sanitary regulations in CU common dairy market to be discussed in Minsk

         Veterinary and sanitary control in the common dairy market of the Customs Union (CU) will be discussed at the international science-to-practice seminar “The Customs Union legislation in dairy production” due in Minsk. 
        The NASB noted that taking part in the seminar will be a delegation from the Dutch company DSM Food Specialties, which is the world’s major producer of enzymes, yeast extracts and bacterial concentrates. “A presentation of a joint application laboratory of the Food Innovation Center will be held during the seminar. The laboratory will develop new kinds of dairy products and provide training for specialists employed in dairy industry,” the NASB underlined adding that cooperation between the Meat and Dairy Industry Institute and DSM Food Specialties is an example of integration of science and practice to implement joint projects. These two companies cooperate in scientific research in topical areas and in training Belarus’ specialists employed in dairy industry. The sides pay special attention to the creation of the new kinds of bacterial ferments and concentrates for dairy industry.
