Belarus-Hungary Economic Forum in Budapest praised as productive

         The Belarusian-Hungarian Economic Forum in Budapest has been very effective and has yielded good results, Belarusian Deputy Foreign Minister Yelena Kupchina said at the plenary session of the Belarusian-Hungarian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation. According to Yelena Kupchina, the business forum showed a keen interest of the Hungarian party in cooperation with Belarusian partners.
       The fact that the event was attended by some 150 representatives of the Hungarian business attests to the great potential for the development of bilateral ties in various fields. The economic forum was preceded by a meeting of the intergovernmental commission. The business forum was organized by the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Belarus and Hungary with the support of the Embassy of Belarus in Budapest and the Foreign Ministry of Belarus. The Belarusian business delegation was headed by Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Ulakhovich, who met with President of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Laszlo Parragh. The parties confirmed their intent to work closely on a variety of economic issues.
