Austrian businessmen to visit Minsk on 22-24 October

         A delegation of Austrian businessmen led by President of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber Christoph Leitl will come to Minsk on 22-24 October. The parties agreed about it during the Belarus-Austria Economic Forum that took place in Vienna. The participants of the forum were informed about trade and economic cooperation prospects with Belarus in the context of the country’s membership in the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space, establishment of the business platform Belarus-Russia-Kazakhstan in the Single Economic Space, the country’s investment potential and laws regulating business operations.
Representatives of Belarusian and Austrian companies and organizations held a business match-making session to discuss production and purchase of meat processing equipment, technologies to produce fittings, equipment for industrial modernization, construction of a meat works in Belarus using Austrian investment, export of Belarusian timber and solid fuels to the EU, cooperation in securing banking guarantees.
