Nearly 120 companies to take part in Woodworking 2013 expo in Minsk

        An exhibition of equipment and technology for timber, woodworking and furniture industry Woodworking 2013 will take place in Minsk on 1-4 October 2013.
        “In its size and the number of participants the expo proves its status of the country’s biggest industry show,” specialists noted. Partaking in this year’s exposition will be about 120 companies from Belarus, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Slovenia, Ukraine, France, and Estonia. “The international exhibition Woodworking traditionally displays new trends in the sector, opens up opportunities for business communication, contributes to the market development and enhances the authority of producers,” the organizers said.
      The exhibition will include a big exposition of German companies. Up to 20 participants, including Homag, Weinig and Siempelkamp, will display their products. The Italian Woodworking Machinery and Tools Manufacturers’ Association ACIMALL will present a collective exposition of Italian companies. According to the organization, Belarus was among top ten woodworking machinery importers in Italy in 2011.
