7th Day of German Economy in Belarus to highlight professional training

         Minsk is expected to host the 7th Day of German Economy. The event will be held on 8 October by the German-Belarusian Economic Club and the Representative Office of the German Economy in Belarus under the auspices of Ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany to Belarus Wolfram Maas. The 7th Day of German Economy will highlight Professional Personnel for Economy: Concepts, Experience, Prospects. The Day will hold presentations and discussions on concepts and experience in vocational training and enhancement of qualifications of specialists. New promising approaches to addressing current issues in the area will be exemplified by cooperation between companies and educational establishments. The Day will start with a plenary session which is to be followed by a presentation of practical experience in the organization of vocational education and enhancement of qualifications of specialists. The focus will be made on cooperation between the economy and the education sector in training specialists. Invited to partake in the event are businessmen of both countries, the Government of the Republic of Belarus, the federal ministries of Germany, the Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry as well as educational establishments, branch unions and organizations.
