Belarus’ family capital up by 15.2%

The amount of the family capital has been increased by 15.2% to total Br29,950 as of 1 January of this year, BelTA learned from the press service of the Labor and Social Security Ministry.

Family capital in the amount of Br29,950 is assigned to families at the birth (adoption) of the third or subsequent children in the period from 1 January to 31 December 2023.

The amount of family capital is determined on the date of birth of the third or subsequent children (on the date of entry into force of a court decision in the case of adoption) regardless of the date of application for it, the Labor and Social Security Ministry noted.

So, when applying for the family capital program in 2023 for children born (adopted) in 2022 (from January 1 to 31 December inclusively), the family capital is assigned in the amount of Br25,995.
