Lukashenko: No war from Belarus' territory in progress

There is no war going on from Belarus' territory. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko made the statement after casting his vote during the referendum on amending and expanding the country's Constitution, BelTA has learned.

Aleksandr Lukashenko said: “We don't wage a war against them now and back then: there is no need. No missiles fly from our territory to Ukraine and they don't have to. Kiev is surrounded, those cities are surrounded. They [Russians] have occupied some cities. Why would we shoot from Belarus' territory 200km, 300km, 400km away? It would be crazy.”

“This is why it is a lie. No war from Belarus' territory is in progress. Do we help Russians? Of course, we do. Injured and killed people… If heavily injured people are brought to us, we treat them. What's bad about that? And we will treat them, we will support them,” the head of state stressed. “This is why don't attack us and don't tell Belarusians to make the right choice. Make your own choice first!”
