(soundbite)

We need to build up on our opportunities in the sector every year. We need to do this not only abroad. Although, you are doing very well in the Russian Federation. You have gone from well repair works to oil production. This is a very important topic for me ahead of the meeting with the Russian president. Perhaps, you will have some suggestions that will be of interest to Russia and Belarus. I will discuss them with him.

Aleksandr Lyakhov told the media that the results of Belorusneft's work in Russia were discussed in detail during the meeting with the head of state. In Russia, there are already service companies in well repair and drilling and enterprises that produce oil and gas.

Belorusneft is a state-owned vertically integrated oil company. It occupies a leading position in the fuel and energy complex of the Republic of Belarus.
