Belarus' Borisov to celebrate its founder Prince Boris on 15 May

On 15 May, Borisov will host festivities in honor of the founder of the city Prince Boris, BelTA learned form the Belarusian Orthodox Church. Metropolitan Veniamin of Minsk and Zaslavl, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus, will conduct a religious service in the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ. After the service, participants of the event will welcome the Cross of Saint Euphrosyne of Polotsk. Another service and a flower-laying ceremony will take place in the Square of the 900th anniversary of Borisov. The festivities will wrap up with a presentation of a book about Prince Boris in the local community center. The celebrations have been organized by the Borisov Eparchy of the Belarusian Orthodox Church in association with the Borisov District Executive Committee.
