The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) welcomes the agreement to stop clashes on the Kyrgyzstan-Tajikistan border, according to the CSTO commentary on the situation, BelTA has learned.
“The CSTO welcomes the agreements to end clashes on the Kyrgyzstan-Tajikistan border, the withdrawal of additional military units with military equipment and the parties' desire to resolve contentious border issues using political and diplomatic methods in a spirit of alliance and good neighborliness, which is the basis of the organization,” the commentary reads.
