China-Belarus industrial park interested in cooperation with Cuban companies in pharmaceutics

 

      The China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone is interested in cooperation with Cuban companies in the sphere of pharmaceutics and biotechnologies, the park’s press service told BelTA. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Cuba to Belarus Juan Valdes Figueroa and representatives of the diplomatic mission visited the China-Belarus industrial park on 26 April. The negotiations touched upon opportunities for cooperation with Cuban companies in the sphere of pharmaceutics and biotechnologies. Interaction with the special development zone Mariel was mentioned. The China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone and the Mariel Special Development Zone have signed a memorandum of understanding this year. The sides reaffirmed mutual interest in future joint work. While in the park the guests were made familiar with the history and growth of the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone and visited the one-stop shop center for resident companies and investors.The China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone is a special economic zone with a special legal regime. The park is home to 69 resident companies from 14 countries. The park’s priority development areas include mechanical engineering, electronics and telecommunications, biotechnologies, pharmaceutics, new materials, logistics, digital commerce, big data storage and processing.
