Belarus-Bangladesh business council will outline new cooperation areas, BCCI says

The mission of the business council of Belarus and Bangladesh is to identify the barriers to business and to search for new areas of cooperation, Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), co-chairman of the Belarus-Bangladesh business council Mikhail Myatlikov told reporters at its first session in Minsk. The next meeting is expected in 2014

Firstly, it has been created to identify problems in our economic relations and bring them to the level of heads of government. Secondly, the council aims to detect new market sectors where cooperation can be promising. This is necessary in order to develop other areas of economic cooperation apart from trade in goods. We will examine all new promising areas of cooperation. The partners can use Belarus as a gateway to the markets of the Custom Union member states. The market of Bangladesh, the country with high population density, is a promising one for Belarus, too, said the official.
