Over 50 students from 10 countries enrolled for the Russian language summer school at BSU

Over 50 students from 10 countries have enrolled at the Russian language summer school that opened at the Pre-University Education Department of the Belarusian State University. Students represent such countries as Germany, Spain, the UK, Turkey, China, the Republic of Korea, Iran, Japan, Iraq and Vietnam.

“The program includes cultural and speech adaptation, a practice-oriented corrective lexical and grammar course and an intensive course in speaking and reading skills. The enrollees will undergo a course to improve professional vocabulary in such areas as tourism, business and commerce. Foreign students will learn how to work with authentic internet resources and video materials,” the press service underlined. The goal of the summer school is to create a kind of Russian language environment for the students, simulate social and cultural situations, comment on them and increase inner motivation to learn the Russian language. Foreign students will be able to get familiar with the Belarusian national traditions thanks to excursions of historical places in Belarus.
