RSA might use Belarus’ practices in agrotown construction

         Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of South Africa Andrei Molchan met with Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of South Africa Tina Joemat-Pettersson to discuss cooperation in agriculture, including purchase of Belarusian farm machines and equipment, and fertilizers and sharing best practices in reforming agricultural sector and enhancing food security. The Belarusian diplomat is on a working trip to the Western Cape Province of South Africa.
Andrei Molchan also met with Deputy Minister of Rural Development and Land Reform Lechesa Tsenoli. “The parties discussed a possibility to use Belarus’ experience in construction of agrotowns,” the Foreign Ministry informed. 
         Andrei Molchan also met with Chief Executive Officer at the Black Business Council Xolani Qubeka to discuss implementation of the memorandum of cooperation between the Government of Belarus and the Black Business Council signed in August 2012. They also considered a possibility to start a number of joint projects.
