Belarus, China agree to boost all-round strategic partnership


      Belarus and China have agreed to develop all-round strategic partnership more actively. This is one of the outcomes of the first joint meeting of the Belarusian-Chinese intergovernmental committee for cooperation in Beijing, BelTA reports. The meeting was co-chaired by Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Tozik and Meng Jianzhu, the secretary of the Central Politics and Law Commission of the Communist Party of China. The meeting was also attended by the heads of ministries and departments of Belarus and China.
        The parties noted that the establishment of the committee was important for the promotion of the Belarus-China all-round strategic partnership. The meeting participants also exchanged their assessments and proposals concerning the promising areas of cooperation, signed an intergovernmental agreement on the establishment of the Belarusian-Chinese intergovernmental committee for cooperation and the minutes of the first meeting of the committee.
