Dinamo Minsk blanked by SKA Saint Petersburg in preseason friendly

      HC Dinamo Minsk lost their first preseason game to SKA Saint Petersburg 0-3 at Minsk Arena. Despite a goalless game, the Bisons renewed lineup showed their teeth to one of the KHL best clubs. The Belarusian players showed a good hockey, having numerous chances with the puck hitting the post a number of times throughout the match.
      In a postgame press conference Dinamo Minsk coach Lubomir Pokovic noted that the first game does not show the true strength of the team. The players have just resumed their training after summer holidays. They are still to show their best. His Russian counterpart Vyacheslav Bykov said that his team looked good as for the first game. However, it is still far from the real hockey. Training has just resumed and the teams are in the middle of gaining pace.
