A Belarusian delegation led by Economy Minister Nikolai Snopkov is on a working visit to Spain, BelTA learnt from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to France with concurrent accreditation in Spain Pavel Latushko.
The Belarusian delegation is taking part in the presentations of the opportunities in the trade, economic and investment cooperation between Belarus and Spain. The presentations are held in Madrid and Barcelona. The events of the kind are held in Spain for the first time. They have been organized with the assistance of the economy ministries and the ministries of foreign affairs of Belarus and Spain, the Finance Ministry of Belarus, the Catalan Employers’ Association (Barcelona), others. The organizer of the presentations is the Embassy of Belarus in France and Spain. It is expected that partaking in the events will be more than 60 companies and state establishments of Spain.
Nikolai Snopkov and members of the Belarusian delegation will also hold meetings with representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Economy Ministry of Spain, the Spanish export credit agency and leading banks of Spain. The Belarusian delegation will hold talks with a number of big Spanish companies interested in cooperation with Belarus.
