Competitive ability of Belarusian economy in Single Economic Space up for revision

       An international conference takes place in Minsk to discuss antimonopoly regulations and the competitive ability of the national economy in conditions of the Single Economic Space, BelTA reports. The forum is expected to raise the matter of the competition policy in the Single Economic Space, the improvement of antimonopoly regulations, and ways to raise the competitive ability of enterprises. Apart from that, representatives of the conference will discuss the interaction between domestic market protection measures and competition principles and will talk over the development of the competitive environment on the basis of small and medium businesses. The experience of economic integration and the competition-enhancing policy of the European Union will be reviewed. The forum has been arranged by the Eurasian Economic Commission, the Professor Kunyavsky Business Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers in association with other organizations of the business community. Diplomats, parliamentarians, representatives of government agencies, the business community and scientific organizations of Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia have been invited to participate in the forum.
