Belarus-Turkey visa abolition agreement in effect 1 June

The intergovernmental agreement on visa abolition between Belarus and Turkey will enter force on 1 June 2014, the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Belarus reports.
As it has been reported earlier, the agreement on visa abolition means that Belarusian citizens can stay in Turkey for 30 days during one trip. Visas are not required. The maximum amount of days to stay in Turkey within one year should not exceed 90 days. Visa-free regime will not apply to trips for the purpose of work (except for passenger and cargo transportation), studies, scientific activity, family reunion and residence. Citizens of Turkey and Belarus will be able to travel visa-free for holding business negotiations. The agreement on readmission is related to the document on visa-free regime. Its ratification was one of the conditions for the introduction of the visa-free regime between Belarus and Turkey. In particular, the agreement envisages the creation of a readmission center for illegal migrants. It will be located in Minsk. Readmission will apply to working migrants and those in transit through Belarus.
