Khiva Declaration adopted at Uzbekistan-Belarus Interparliamentary Forum

The Khiva Declaration of the Uzbekistan–Belarus Interparliamentary Forum was adopted on 30 September, BelTA has learned.

Over the past two days, the city of Khiva has hosted productive meetings and talks involving parliamentarians, representatives of ministries, various industries, the business community and the social sector. The forum focused on strategic partnership, the development of parliamentary dialogue and prospects for cooperation.

The adoption of the Khiva Declaration of the Uzbekistan-Belarus Interparliamentary Forum was one of the key events on the program. “It is fundamentally important that the declaration become a plan for concrete action. We have analyzed in detail and taken into account in this document all the proposals voiced at the plenary session, in the sections, and at other events,” Chairwoman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Natalya Kochanova emphasized.Forum participants reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to implementing all agreements reached at the highest level by the leaders of the two countries. “We reaffirm our commitment to further strengthening the strategic partnership between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Belarus, friendship and mutual understanding between our peoples, attaching particular importance to implementing the agreements reached at the highest level, including during the state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Belarus in July 2026,” the document reads.

The adopted document provides for comprehensive legislative support for joint initiatives in all key areas. The declaration calls for strengthening the role of the interparliamentary commission on cooperation and developing direct ties between Belarusian Councils of Deputies and Uzbek Kengashes in order to create new job opportunities and promote entrepreneurship directly in the regions.

Economic priorities include deepening industrial cooperation, establishing joint high-value-added production, promoting mutual investment and strengthening food security in the agricultural sector. The parties support the introduction of digital technologies and innovations, creating favorable conditions for entrepreneurship and protecting investors’ rights. “We support cooperation in the agricultural and industrial sector, the introduction of agricultural technologies and biotechnologies, and joint projects for the production, processing and storage of agricultural products to ensure food security,” the declaration says.
Social and humanitarian cooperation, protection of the rights of labor migrants, and human capital development through joint programs in education, science and healthcare also feature prominently in the document. The parties also supported joint personnel training programs, including for the digital economy, as well as exchanges of experience in protecting motherhood and childhood and in supporting vulnerable groups of the population.

“We advocate the development of cultural and humanitarian ties and tourist exchanges, the implementation of joint tourism projects, cooperation between cultural institutions, and the study of experience in preserving cultural heritage,” the document says.
Particular emphasis is placed on the active involvement of youth parliaments, patriotic projects and the comprehensive expansion of women’s economic opportunities. The declaration also recognizes the role of parliamentary diplomacy, legislative support and parliamentary oversight in the practical development of bilateral cooperation. The document is based on common priorities for human capital development, ensuring decent employment, expanding opportunities for women and young people, and improving the well-being of citizens of the two states.

“We support holding the Uzbekistan-Belarus Interparliamentary Forum on a regular basis as a platform for further developing parliamentary dialogue, business and humanitarian ties between the two countries,” the document says.

The Khiva Declaration establishes a roadmap for further development of interparliamentary dialogue, economic cooperation, and cultural and humanitarian partnership.

As BelTA previously reported, the Uzbekistan-Belarus Interparliamentary Forum was held in Khiva on 29-30 September.

21st June was fifth International Yoga Day observed across the world. The theme for Yoga Day 2019 was "Yoga for Climate Action”. On this day, which is dedicated to inner and outer well-being of human body, people across the world practice yoga in groups. The International Day of Yoga aims to raise awareness worldwide of the many benefits of practicing yoga, a physical, mental and spiritual practice.

Lieber Dietmar,
das ist wirklich ein Dudelsack :) In Belarus wird es aber Dudá genannt. Eigentlich ist Duda ein belarussisches traditionelles Musikinstrument. Übrigens gibt es viele Arten und Formen von Dudelsack in verschiedenen Kulturen und Ländern von Südamerica bis Indien.
PS: das Lied ist Каляда На Балоце von Тутэйшая Шляхта. ;)

Вы не рассматривали вариант вещания на СВ? Сегодня парк радиоприемников очень широк, в любом доме каждой деревни найдется старое радио. К сожалению, в данном диапазоне в Беларуси вещание уже несколько лет, как прекращено. При этом новостных радиостанций во многих регионах просто нет. Приходится слушать те же ВестиFM на частоте 1423 кГц из Приднестровья. Вот было бы здорово в Беларуси слушать свои новости, политический анализ, различного рода обзоры. Аудитория может состоять из жителей населенных пунктов, где нет нормального приема FM, автомобилистов, проезжающих по дорогам страны, любителей приема АМ.Виктор.

К сожалению, реалии таковы, что многие радиостанции отказываются от вещания на коротких и средних волнах. Радио "Беларусь" не исключение, несколько лет назад и мы перестали вещать на КВ и СВ. Сейчас мы делаем акцент на вещание через спутник (информация по приему есть на нашем сайте) и через Интернет. В некоторых регионах Беларуси (Брест, Гродно, Мядель и др.) наш сигнал можно поймать в ФМ-диапазоне. Надеемся, эта информация вам пригодится.

Сегодня принял вашу передачу на немецком языке на частоте 11730. К сожалению сигнал здесь в России в Кировской области достаточно слабый. Но обычно я вас слушаю через интернет на вашем сайте. Передачи считаю довольно интересными. Особенно нравятся ваши песни на белорусском языке.
Рапорт о приёме я вам посылаю по обычной почте на листе бумаге. Думаю и вам приятнее такие рапорты получать, чем по e-mail.
