Belarus, Slovakia sign memoranda of cooperation in investments and trade

      The 11th session of Belarus-Slovakia commission for trade, economic and sci-tech cooperation took place in Bratislava.
         Belarus’ delegation was led by Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Alexander Gurianov; Slovakia’s delegation was led by First State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic Pavol Pavlis.
Alexander Gurianov and Pavol Pavlis held a one-on-one meeting and took part in a plenary session and thematic sections to discuss cooperation in power engineering, manufacturing industry, tourism, standardization and certification and financial field. Representatives of agencies and chambers of commerce and industry of the two countries discussed the state and prospects of investments and trade between Belarus and Slovakia. 
       A final protocol was signed following the session. The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency concluded a memorandum of cooperation. The Investment and Trade Development Agency also signed a memorandum of cooperation with the National Center for Marketing and Price Study of Belarus.
