A Belarusian delegation is taking part in the meetings of intergovernmental working groups of experts on trafficking in perosns and illegal migration in Vienna.
The main goal of intergovernmental working groups set up by the Conference of the State Parties to the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime is to work out recommendations for efficient implementation of the convention’s protocols against human trafficking and illegal migration.
The Belarusian delegation presented the information on the national efforts in the fight against human trafficking and illegal migration. The Belarusian delegation introduced a number of proposals for the relevant recommendations that are to be worked out by the working groups.
