Belarus, Hungary expect great results from economic cooperation

Belarus and Hungary are determined to make the bilateral economic cooperation as efficient as possible, Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Yelena Kupchina said at the Belarus-Hungary Economic Forum in Budapest. The forum was held within the framework of the fourth session of the Belarus-Hungary intergovernmental commission for economic cooperation. Yelena Kupchina emphasized that such a business forum and the session of the intergovernmental commission are becoming a good tradition already. “This demonstrates our common determination to expand ties and reach appreciable results; it also shows the willingness of the governments to work closely with the business communities of the two countries,” she said.  For the second year consecutive the economic and business events have been complemented by a cultural program. The venue of the economic forum also hosted an exhibition of paintings by Belarusian children who took part in the art contest Rainbow that was traditionally held in the Hungarian resort town of Zanka. “Let this exhibition help us look at the world through children’s eyes, think about the things they expect from us, and find out-of-the-box solutions. In the end, everything we do is meant to promote the sustainable development of our countries and the interests of the generations to come,” the Deputy Foreign Minister said.
