Magna Carta College Oxford benefits from experience gained on Belarus’ educational market

Magna Carta College Oxford is going to use the experience it got in Belarus in other countries of the former Soviet Union, Vadzim Tsitou, MCC Chief Executive Officer, told a press conference. Belarus became the first CIS country where the educational programs of the MCC were launched. Vadzim Tsitou noted that it was the first time bilingual programs had been introduced in Belarus, which means that students got an opportunity to use educational materials in English and Russian. According to him, such approach facilitates better education results and lets students significantly improve their English language skills. Belarus became the first country in the post-Soviet space which citizens got an opportunity to apply for the international programs ABE/APB and receive British education in the form of correspondence courses (online) or distance-learning courses. The MCC has recently opened its own examination center at the Center of Business Education under the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. From now on the Belarusian students will not have to go to the UK twice a year to sit exams there. Instead the exams will be administered by English examiners in Minsk.
