EAEU prime ministers okay main directions of industrial cooperation

The Eurasian Intergovernmental Council has approved the main directions of industrial cooperation in the Eurasian Economic Union in the period till 2025, BelTA learned from Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin. Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko took part in a Eurasian Intergovernmental Council session in the Russian city of Kazan on 29-30 April. Askar Mamin described the document as one of the key decisions made by participants of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council session. In his words, the document is aimed at stimulating outrunning growth of the industrial output of the Eurasian Economic Union member states on the basis of the potential of the common market, improvement of the competitive ability of the EAEU member states, promotion of export of jointly made products on foreign markets, transition to a new level of technological development of the manufacturing sector, joint stimulation of innovations.
