The second international festival of short films Cinema Perpetuum Mobile takes place in Minsk from 12 to 20 January.

        The program is extensive and varied featuring 300 films from 41 countries. They are presented in seven sections: feature films and documentaries, animations and video art, experimental, music films, environmental and children's and youth films. The latest releases are screened not only in cinema houses in Minsk but also in the oblast capitals and other major cities of Belarus: Brest, Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno, Lida, Mozyr, Novopolotsk, and Soligorsk. The international program are shown in 16 countries around the world at the same time. The first annual international film festival of short films was held in Minsk in January 2012. A total of 190 films from 30 countries were sent for the festival. The eminent judging panel selected the best movies in several categories. The festival drew public interest and got an enthusiastic response in the press.
