The Russian company ZAO Eurocement Group is ready to invest in the construction of a mining and processing factory using the Sitnitskoye deposit. The relevant agreement was reached during the recent meeting of Vice Prime Minister of Belarus Anatoly Kalinin and top executives of the company in Minsk, the press service of the Belarus government reported. ZAO Eurocement Group’s President Mikhail Skorokhod expressed the readiness to invest and mentioned possible ways to reduce the investment cost of the project. The meeting also focused on Belarusian cement supplies to Russia, the participation of ZAO Eurocement Group in reconstructing dry-method concrete production facilities of the Belarusian company OAO Krichevcementnoshifer and joint variants for selling the line to the benefit of the civil engineering industry and the state. Apart from that, the sides discussed the development and signing of a roadmap for joint actions for the next five years in November 2014.
During the meeting the sides reached an agreement that OAO Gomelpromstroy will take part in the modernization of an enterprise in Eurocement Group.
