Belarusian MPs attend international events in Saint Petersburg

        Belarusian parliamentarians take part in international events in Saint Petersburg, the press service of the upper chamber of the Belarus parliament reports. The events include events of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Eurasian Economic Community, and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization. The Belarusian delegation is led by Anatoly Rubinov, Speaker of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly. The speaker takes part in sessions of the CIS IPA Council, CSTO PA Council, the Bureau, and the 16th plenary session of the EurAsEC IPA. Anatoly Rubinov is to make a report at the second plenary session of the international forum Eurasian Economic Perspective. The agenda of the CIS IPA Council session includes several topical matters, including discussions about the CIS IPA events timed to the 70th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, the summing up of CIS IPA efforts in 2013, amendments to the perspective plan for CIS model legislation for 2011-2015.
