Gomselmash plans to start supplies of its machinery to Turkmenistan.
This topic was discussed in a meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Turkmenistan Oleg Tabanyukhov and Charygeldi Charlyev, Chairman of the association Turkmenobakhyzmat responsible for technical maintenance of agriculture. The Turkmen side was particularly interested in Belarus-made fodder harvesters, mowing-machines and balers. At the meeting the officials agreed to supply to Turkmenistan two units of each agricultural machine in order to test them in Turkmenistan’s climatic conditions during one year. This is done to see which advantages Belarusian equipment has over similar foreign machines which Turkmenistan uses. Belarusian harvesters will be shipped in late April. The final decision concerning the supplies will be made following the tests.
The sides also agreed that Charygeldi Charlyev will visit Belarus to get familiar with Gomselmash’s work and products and take part in the 24th international specialized exhibition BELAGRO 2014.
