Belarusian biathlete Darya Domracheva has won the women’s 10km pursuit gold, which is Belarus’ first medal at the 2014 Olympics in Sochi.

“I tried not to think of anything during the pursuit. Of course, I realized I had moved into first place and had a great break away, however it was very important to be right here and now and control each step and shot of yours. I missed only once at the last standing stage. But one penalty loop was not a problem. I just had to work harder!”
