Our Children campaign continues

         The New Year charity campaign Our Children shows our kind intentions, Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the Belarusian National Assembly Anatoly Rubinov told media as he visited the Zhdanovichi orphanage for mentally handicapped children.
           Anatoly Rubinov underlined that children and the elderly are taken good care of in Belarus. It is important that all children be given attention. This is the goal of the Our Children campaign which covers orphanages, hospitals and foster care families. “Children may not understand the role of the state but their hearts tell them that these people come to give them attention and warmth. This is extremely important, especially for parentless children. I think such an initiative is very important,” Anatoly Rubinov said.
The New Year charity campaign Our Children will continue in Belarus until 10 January 2014. It is aimed at supporting and helping children who found themselves in a difficult situation and need special care of the state and society.
