Belarusian diasporas expected to help promote business ties with foreign states

         One of the objectives of the government program Belarusians of the World for 2013-2015 is to promote business ties between Belarus and other countries with the help of business associations set up by Belarusians living abroad, Deputy Culture Minister of Belarus Vasily Chernik told media. “The government should involve Belarusian diasporas into the establishment of a commodity distribution network of domestic producers abroad. This issue can be resolved by inviting Belarusians to take part in economic and investment business forums where they will be able to present their capacities,” Vasily Chernik said. In his words, the diaspora can play an important role in implementing a domestic policy and promoting all-round ties with foreign states in the interests of Belarus. The government program Belarusians of the World for 2013-2015 is meant to strengthen and expand a constructive dialogue with the Belarusian community abroad, promote cultural and economic ties with foreign states and raise investments into Belarus with the help of Belarusian diasporas, the Deputy Culture Minister said.
