Serbia President, Belarusian Deputy Foreign Minister discuss joint projects

          Serbia President Tomislav Nikolic met with Belarusian Deputy Foreign Minister Yelena Kupchina as the Belarusian official visited Belgrade. The participants discussed implementation of the Belarus-Serbia top-level agreements that were reached during the visit of the Serbia President to Minsk in March 2013. The sides confirmed the intention to successfully implement joint projects in economy, culture, and other spheres. The Belarusian Deputy Foreign Minister met with Igor Mirovic, Minister for Regional Development and Local Self-Government, the head of the Serbian part of the commission. The negotiations were focused on roadmap matters, the development of trade and investment cooperation between Belarusian and Serbian companies. The Deputy Foreign Minister also met with honorary consuls of Belarus in the cities of Belgrade, Novi Sad, and Kragujevac. Efforts of the honorary consuls are focused on rendering assistance to Belarusian export to Serbia and the expansion of Belarusian-Serbian investment and humanitarian cooperation.
