Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013 is nearing its climax. Kyiv hosts dress rehearsals, one of which is attended by the professional jury. According to the organizers of the show, this year’s changes in the contest will become a new page in the history of the forum and demonstrate new approaches to the organization of the show. Among the novelties are reward prizes to the top three entries in acknowledgement of the talents of young performers. Votes will be announced from Kyiv by representatives of each participating state. Press conferences for the three winners will be also held for the first time.
Belarus’ entry Ilya Volkov and his dance group Maxi Briz will perform under number 7 with the song Sing with Me. Partaking in this year’s contest are 12 countries. Belarus made its debut in the contest in 2003. In 2005 the competition was won by Kseniya Sitnik with her song My Vmeste (We are Together). Alexei Zhigalkovich (With Friends) took the Junior Eurovision title in 2007.
