CIS Defense Ministers Council meeting to highlight military cooperation

          Moscow hosts the 65th meeting of the CIS Defense Ministers Council.
The meeting considers over 20 issues of military cooperation in the CIS. The participants discuss the activity of the Council’s working bodies in 2013, cooperation in geospatial data sharing, monitoring the application of national identification means in the armed forces, the order of collecting and sharing information on aviation technology defects. The meeting also focuses on the problems related to the development of the CIS united radiation, chemical, biological monitoring and evaluation system, hydrometeorological support of joint combat training events, interaction between CIS defense ministers, security bodies and special services in training and enhancement of qualifications of counterterrorism specialists.
