Russian space agency prioritizes cooperation with NASB

        The advancement of mutual ties between the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Russian Space Agency is a priority.
       The statement was made by Head of the Federal Space Agency of Russia (Roscosmos) Oleg Ostapenko as he met with Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Vladimir Gusakov in Moscow.
       The meeting was focused on discussing future development of cooperation between Belarus and Russia in space exploration, education, the expansion of the Belarusian-Russian satellite constellation, the creation of nano satellites by students, and ways to improve the legal base the cooperation relies on. The Roscosmos head suggested creating a permanent working group of Belarusian and Russian space industry specialists.
        Vladimir Gusakov remarked that for Belarus Russia is an indisputable authority in space exploration. He said he hopes for future fruitful cooperation and the expansion of efforts to implement joint space programs and projects.
