About 40 retail organizations join Tax Free system in Belarus

          About 40 retail organizations of Belarus have joined the Tax Free system, Alexander Sesyutchenkov, the head of information technologies and communication at RUP Beltamozhservice, told reporters.
According to him, the interest in the new service remains high. "About 50 retail facilities are in the process of connecting to the Tax Free system. There are new applications," he said. According to Alexander Sesyutchenkov, the Tax Free mechanism in Belarus has been well-established and functions properly. To date, the service has been used by foreign nationals from 11 countries, namely from China, Germany, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Ukraine and other countries.
         Alexander Sesyutchenkov added that more details on the rules of use of the Tax Free system may be found on a dedicated Internet site. For the time being it runs only a Russian-language section. The English version of the site is coming out soon.
           Belarus is the first among the CIS countries to launch the Tax Free system. One of the reasons for the speedy development of the system is the upcoming 2014 IIHF World Championship.
