Harbin subpark in Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park

        China’s Heilongjiang Province is ready to set up a Harbin subpark in the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park. The proposal was voiced at the meeting of Vice Premier of Belarus Anatoly Tozik with the Heilongjiang Province delegation in Minsk. The delegation was led by Sun Dongsheng, Deputy President of the People’s Government of Heilongjiang Province. Participants of the meeting outlined a wide range of avenues of future cooperation in various areas, including food production, flax processing, agricultural machine engineering, small-scale power engineering and alternative energy, pharmaceutics, the introduction of research products, the organization of free trade, healthcare, education, culture and other areas. The sides confirmed the intentions to work together to implement the project to create the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park. Heilongjiang Province is ready to become one of the founders of the joint company that will run the park. Heilongjiang Province is also ready to create a Harbin subpark as part of the larger industrial park. The necessary documents are supposed to be signed at the 14th session of the Belarusian-Chinese commission for trade and economic cooperation in Beijing on 21-22 October.
